The Specials Menu is mostly seafood and changes regularly to reflect the delicious array of fish and shellfish delivered daily. Loch Fyne Langoustines, Scallops and Mussels are regulars, along with Gigha Squat Lobster, and locally landed Turbot, Halibut, Sole and other delicacies.

There is also an extensive Wine List with favourites from the old world and the new, as well as a fine range of Single Malts, including all the local Springbank and Glen Scotia expressions.

Aerial view of Machrihanish Golf Club

A hidden treasure - two World Top 100 Golf Courses within ten mintutes' drive. Where can you find a championship classic links Golf Course that is not inundated with people? Look no farther than Machrihanish GC, re-designed by Old Tom Morris and recently voted one of the finest first holes in golf. Residents of Craigard benefit from 10% off green fees.

Also nearby is Machrihanish Dunes GC, designed by David McLay Kidd, who designed Bandon Dunes GC in Oregon (a World Top 40 Course) and the Castle Course in St Andrews. Built on a site of special scientific interest, this classic links course takes the player back to the way golf began, with most greens and tees on the unspoilt dunes overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.

Along with Dunaverty GC overlooking Sanda Island, a stay at Craigard is certainly a haven for the golf enthusiast.

We also specialise in organising stress free group visits - with tee times, transport, accommodation and food all arranged to your individual specification. Why not hire the whole hotel?
