Aerial view of Machrihanish Golf Club

A hidden treasure - a championship Golf Course that is not inundated with people? Look no farther than Machrihanish GC, re-designed by Old Tom Morris (15 minutes from Craigard). Recently voted one of the finest first holes in golf. Residents of Craigard benefit from 10% off green fees.

We also specialise in organising stress free group visits - with tee times, transport, accommodation and food all arranged to your individual specification. Why not hire the whole hotel?

The new Machrihanish Dunes Golf Course is now open, just North of the original course, on the same coastline. This is another classic links course, the first to be created on the West Coast of Scotland in 100 years. Built on a site of Special Scientific Interest, it has been designed by David McLay Kidd, who was responsible for the Castle Course at St Andrews, as well as Bandon Dunes in Oregon, USA.
