Inver Holiday Caravan
Inver Caravan Park is licensed for 15 pitches, and is a Camping and Caravan Club listed site. It has nearly an acre of smooth grass and 8 hard standings, some surrounding trees for shelter, 14 electric hook-ups, mains drinking water and a dump station for waste water and chemical toilet waste. In 2011 we extended and upgraded the facilities block, which has underfloor heating, double glazing and lots of insulation. It gives us 3 private shower rooms, one suitable for disabled use, an extra WC, and a well-equipped laundry and dishwashing area. We have an excellent drying room, guaranteed to dry anything overnight! Wifi is available for a modest fee. We welcome all caravans and motor homes of any size, tents, trailer tents, cars, vans, walkers and cyclists, children and dogs - in fact everyone! Charges are per pitch and per person, per night, and vary according to the season. Details via email! We are a few minutes walk away from the SPAR shop, and the Bay Owl restaurant and pub (booking required at weekends). From the Park there are beautiful views over Dunbeath Bay, and lovely walks along the beach or up the Dunbeath Strath. Locally, there are the excellent Dunbeath Heritage Centre and the Laidhay Croft Museum. The childrens play park and tennis court are also nearby. It is in a convenient location to use as a stop-over on the long walk or cycle run from Lands End, as it is 38 miles from John o Groats, or before catching a ferry to Orkney. Use it as a base for exploring the far north, visiting the Castle of Mey, for climbing cliffs and sea-stacks, for hill-walking on Scaraben or Morven, for discovering the interesting archaeology of Caithness, or for simply relaxing in a beautiful location. We also have a luxury holiday caravan for hire, which sleeps up to 6 people. It has electric heating is all rooms, double glazing, free-standing lounge and dining furniture, bathroom with shower, colour television with Freeview, free gas and electricity, and a very fully equipped kitchen. All bedding, towels, cleaning materials and toilet rolls are provided. All you need to bring is your food! The caravan can be hired from £35 per night, £185 per week, off-peak, to £50 per night, £300 per week in July and August.
