The Jacobite steam train runs from Fort William and of course you could climb Ben Nevis. 2007 World Mountain Bike Championship track is next to Nevis ski range and cable car with stunning views across the mountains and lochs to Skye.

There are an endless range of walks for all from the challenging West Highland Way to a leasurely stroll up Neptunes Staircase with views to Ben Nevis.
