Situated in the bustling Food Town of Castle Douglas, this beautiful early 19th century townhouse offers a prime location, stylish en suite accommodation and first-class service.

Each of the property’s beautifully decorated bedrooms has modern en suite facilities and either cosy king-size or super king-size beds, with the exception of the single on the ground floor. All the rooms are tastefully furnished, with TV/DVD player, beverage tray, hairdryer, clock radio and a selection of up-to-date magazines. The twin, super king-size room is particularly spacious, and the large en suite bathroom with its large bath and separate walk-in shower, makes this room an ideal option for wheelchair users. For your convenience, easy, free and unrestricted on-street parking is available in front of and adjacent to the house.

A delicious breakfast, made from the freshest locally sourced produce, is served in the light and airy, dining room. Indulge in a full Scottish breakfast with all the trimmings or start the day off the healthy way with one of the lighter options. The Food Town of Castle Douglas has lots of independently owned specialist food shops, including the award-winning In House Chocolates, where you can pick up scrumptious handmade chocolates, and Sunrise Wholefoods, which is the perfect place to pick up a picnic of the tastiest local produce. Just a short drive away you will find the must-see Threave Gardens, and you can head a little further on to Threave Castle - ring the bell for the boatman to take you across to visit the magnificent 14th century ruined tower! Surrounded by wetlands, the area is a well-known wildfowl refuge and is ideal for birdwatching.
