The conservation village of Straiton lies 1 mile north. The area is a haven for those interested in walking, cycling, golfing, fishing and horse riding (stables and grazing available on site). For families there are 2 outdoor play parks, a large grass playing field, acres of woodland walks and a large pond with hide for bird watching.

Rabbie Burns Lodge has wheel-in shower, hand rails, safety non-slip flooring, mobile shower chair, toilet with wide access and support rails and ramped access, narrowest door is 30 inches. Lodge has full central heating, all mod cons and extensive decking area.

DOONANS COTTAGE - Sleeps 6 to 8
3 bedrooms (1 ensuite), large lounge/dining room with wood burner
and newly fitted kitchen with dining table.
FOXGLOVE COTTAGE - sleeps 4 (1 bunk bed)
Separate kitchen and dining room. Full central heating, all mod cons and wood burner.
