The Lodge - Getting There
Getting there by Aeroplane
From Glasgow Airport: get onto the A82 and travel to Dumbarton. Keep on the road until you reach Tarbet, then take the A83 in the direction of Campbeltown. Pass through the village of Arrochar, go a further 7 miles North and turn left onto the B828 (signposted Lochgoilhead). Travel for 5 miles on this single-track road. Before the village there is a small bridge. Take the right turn before the bridge and follow the sign for Carrick Castle. Go past the Ministry of Defence Base, then Loch Goil Cruises, then you will see a white gate for York Cottage. The third turning on the left is for The Lodge (the driveway is very steep).
