Gardenia House

Gardenia House is a traditional granite C listed Victorian town housesituated in Banff on the main street and located within easy access to the town centre, sandy beaches and marina. The house has recently been refurbished and redecorated to a high standard and many original features are retained. All our rooms are spacious with en suite or private bathroom facilities. The front facing bedrooms do have views to the sea. We have double, twin, family and single rooms all having electric shaver points, hair dryers, TV, radio, tea and coffee making facilities. A selection of books and magazines are available on the first floor landing for the use of guests during their stay. Fresh cold milk is available for your tea and coffee, please just knock and ask for it fresh out the fridge. A set evening meal is available and anyone wishing to have the meal should make arrangements when booking.

This area of Scotland where Banff is situated on the north east coast looking out onto the Moray Firth is renowned for its wonderful scenery, beaches and wildlife. From Banff visitors can enjoy spectacular views, magnificient sunsets, clean air and very friendly people.
In the spring this coastline is a haven for bird watchers and walkers a like who can enjoy the wonderful Coastal Trail, watching the range of birds including puffins, guillemots and razorbills.
A boat trip out into the Moray Firth to try and spot the dolphins frolicking off shore or seal and porpoises in the wild.
The Whisky Trail to follow and sample!!
The Castle Trail for those interested in history. There are over 70 castles in Aberdeenshire, Banffshire and Moray. Duff House a magnificient mansion designed by William Adam is now a country house gallery, hosting artisitc events and exhibitions throughout the year.
The grounds of Duff House has an abundance of Wildlife within the grounds, woodland walks and a picnic area for everyone to enjoy.
The Marine Aquarium in Macduff brings the marine life of the Moray Firth, Scotland's largest bay, to life. It is of great interest to all the family.
Fishing is popular in the area and can be found in many guises, whether it be on the lochs, estuaries, fisheries or rivers. Here we have the River Deveron, a very picturesque river.
Golfers have a wide choice of courses in the area, one being the Duff House Royal Golf Club which plays over a very fine course built on the gravel terraces of the River Deveron.
