From Dundee Tourist Information Centre go down Castle Street and turn right to and through Whitehall Crescent for the bus opposite the railway station to Newport on Tay. Descend at Castle Brae stop on West Road. Cross West road to Cuthbert’s road, opposite. Walk to top of Cuthberts road. Fernbrae House is directly ahead at the junction of Cuthberts and Wellgate street

From Edinburgh airport follow signs for Forth Road Bridge (M90). Turn left after the Forth bridge onto the A92 towards Glenrothes and carry on towards Dundee. At the roundabout immediately before the Tay Road Bridge turn right to Newport. Take the first left (B946) and follow this road through Newport (following the river) to Cuthberts Road (on the left). Turn left onto Cuthberts. Fernbrae House is directly ahead at the junction of Cuthberts and Wellgate street.
Getting There by Railway

Getting there by Aeroplane
From Edinburgh Airport take the bus to Waverley Station. From there take the train to Dundee, then follow instructions above from TIC. Or, by car, cross the Forth Road Bridge following signs through Fife to Tay Road Bridge. Do not cross the bridge, but turn off to Newport-on-Tay. and follow this road through Newport (following the river) to Cuthberts Road (on the left). Turn left onto Cuthberts. Fernbrae House is directly ahead at the junction of Cuthberts and Wellgate street.
