On the shore of Lochdon, Heather Cottage an old stone-built croft house that was refurbished about 10 years ago. Its old-world charm includes exposed beams and log fire.
It has a lawn and sit-outery to the rear and flower gardens back and front. It has one bedroom with a double bed and fitted wardrobes, a sitting room, kitchen/dining room, entrance hall and bathroom (shower over bath). All linen is provided. Electricity and logs are included in the price. There is a TV for evening entertainment or browse from a selection of books and board games. For the daytime there is a collection of maps and guide books. Lochdon is about 3 miles from the Craignure ferry, conveniently situated for access to all part of Mull and Iona. Heather Cottage is on a quiet side road in Lochdon. It is at the foot of a south facing hill where it basks in the sunshine all day long but the thick stone walls keep the inside of the house cool.
Little Heather Cottage (the studio flat) is adjacent to Heather Cottage It contains twin single beds. Ensuite shower room. Table top cooker, microwave and fridge freezer in a kitchen area. Dining table and chairs. Easy seating. TV and radio/CD player.
Prices are £230pw high season and £130pw low season.
