Situated beside a large, sandy beach and sand dunes with stunning panoramic views across Achnahaird Bay to the mountains beyond, Suilven Cottage offers quality 4-star accommodation for 2 guests. Suilven Cottage occupies the east wing of a 200 years' old traditional Highland Lodge, recently extensively renovated and converted into 3 separate self-contained holiday cottages.
With its oil-fired central heating and open fire, Suilven Cottage is a comfortable, cosy retreat in any season. Upstairs there is one bedroom with a 5ft double bed - all bed-linen and towels are supplied. The bedroom has a low-coombed ceiling - care to be taken especially by those of above average height! The bathroom has a power shower, a separate bath and an amazing view!
The ground floor consists of lounge with dining area and an open fire, colour TV (Sky). The well-equipped modern kitchen has a built in oven and hob, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave and fridge/freezer. There is an enclosed garden to front and rear. A cot and a highchair can be provided on request. Well-behaved pets are welcome. The cost of all heating and electricity and also all coal etc. for the open fire is included in the rental. Bookings for Suilven Cottage are normally Friday to Friday although this can be altered to suit out of season
