Overlooking the harbour in Bowmore and backing onto the shore, 26 Shore Street is a stunning renovation of a traditional cottage. There are 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms along with a large sitting room and an enormous kitchen and dining room looking out over the bay.

The living accommodation is upstairs to provide the best of the views and there’s a large balcony overhanging the sea to enjoy the sunsets from.

The house has beautiful wooden floors with underfloor heating and it’s furnished to the very highest of standards with a mixture of antiques and modern furnishings. In addition there is satellite tv, constant hot-water and all the luxuries holiday makers expect in the 21st Century.


You’ll be welcomed with a chilled bottle of wine and ample teas, coffees and cooking essentials for your stay.

Everything except the food you eat is included in the price.



You’ll love 26 Shore Street the moment you enter the spacious hall. It’s bright and warm with real oak flooring and doors.

The 3 bedrooms lead off the downstairs hall. Two of the rooms have double beds and these have views out over the sea. You can go to sleep listening to the waves. The third is a comfortable twin room. The mattresses and bedding are of a very high standard. You’ll be supplied with towels too.

There is a beautiful bathroom with centre taps and the shower room is just as pretty. Both have heated, tiled floors with a heated towel rail.

Carry on up the stairs and you’ll come to the lounge. There are 2 large couches – one of which is a bed/settee in case you have friends to visit. There’s a flat screen tv with satellite tv and a dvd recorder. There is also a wide selection of dvd’s and books to entertain you.

Adjoining this is the wonderful kitchen and dining room. The room looks out over the balcony and harbour. The dining table sits 8 people and you’ll find everything you need in the modern kitchen area. We supply washing materials for the dishwasher and washing machine along with cooking oils, herbs and spices and a selection of coffees and teas.

There’s another flat screen tv in here, just in case there’s a difference of opinion.

The balcony measures 2 metres x 3 metres. There’s ample rooms to enjoy the view or to eat outside.

Finally, we welcome well behaved dogs. We make a small extra charge for cleaning and ask you to keep your pets away from beds and couches.

Outside, you’re a short walk away from all that Bowmore has to offer including bars, restaurants and shops.
