The area abounds with wildlife and is ideal for walking in the Galloway Hills and glens and along the beautiful coastline with its many sandy beaches. There are also many opportunities nearby for excellent golfing, riding, fishing, cycling and birdwatching. Here you can also find out more about Twynholm’s most famous son, Scottish racing driver, David Coulthard, at the museum which has an impressive collection of cars, trophies and racing paraphernalia.
