Avalon Guest House - Getting There

Getting there from the Information Centre

Turn left out of the TIC heading towards River Ness. Cross the bridge and carry straight on along Young Street which becomes Tomnahurich Street then Glenurquhart Road. Avalon Guest House is approximately ¾ mile from the bridge on the left hand side opposite the Cemetery.

Getting There by Car

From Fort William & A82
Take the A82 and remain on this road following the signs to Inverness.. We are approximately a quarter of a mile past the Caledonian Canal on the right hand side opposite the Cemetery.
From A9 & A96
Follow signs to Inverness and when you arrive on the edge of the City at Longman Roundabout follow signs for A82 Fort William. You pass through the edge of the City and will eventually turn right onto Tomnahurich Street. Go past the Highland Council building on your left. Travel about a quarter of a mile further along Glenurquhart Road and we are on the left hand side opposite the Cemetery.

Inverness Station. Taxis available or a 20 minute walk to Avalon.

Getting there by Aeroplane

Inverness Airport. Taxis and bus service available. Journey time to the City/Avalon approx 25 minutes.
