Penpont Floors Caravan Park
With a range or touring and camping pitches as well as holiday homes for hire, set in the beautiful scenery of the Nith Valley Penpont Caravan Park offers the ideal location for a relaxing short break or base for an exhilarating activity holiday.
Our holiday caravan sleeps between 2-6 and is fully equipped with shower, WC, colour TV, microwave, kettle and toaster.
Touring caravans and motor-home pitches are available with electric hook-ups and tents are also welcome.
Now under new management our 3 star thistle awarded park has undergone extensive renovation to the shower and laundry facilities and improvements will continue to be made.
The laundry room is equipped with a washing machine, dryer and chemical waste disposal, as well as dish washing facilities and taps for drinking water. We also have free hot showers and toilets available for our visitors’ use.
Relax and enjoy riverside walks along the Scaur with runs by our park or maybe you prefer something a little more energetic. The area is extremely popular for fishing and cycling and we are the closest camping park for the mountain bike trails at both the Ae Forest and Drumlanrig Castle.
A few minutes walk away Penpont Village has a post office, tea room, children’s play area, village shop and pub. While nearby, Thornhill has a wider variety of shops, several eating places and an eighteen hole golf course.
We have 25 pitches for touring caravans.
