Glen Auchie is a splendid country cottage with outstanding views to the sea, Mull of Galloway and the Isle of Man. Ideal for walkers, cyclists, bird watching, wildlife, sandy/rocky beaches, fishing, sea fishing, sightseeing trips by boat either side of Mull to Luce Bay & Port Logan, boat trips to the Isle of Man (subject to favourable weather conditions). Logan Botanic gardens, Logan House, Ardwell House all within short distance.

Glen Auchie has recently been refurbished to a high standard for the 2007/2008 season and is available all year. It is ideally place for many outdoor pursuits including walking, cycling, bird watching, wildlife, fishing, horse riding, bowling & sandy beaches. It is ideal for those just wanting to get away from it all, to relax in beautiful and peaceful surroundings. The area has excellent eating places within Drummore and Portlogan. There is also a very well stocked village shop and post office catering for your every need. Visit Portlogan where the television series '2000 Acres of Skye' was filmed.

Visit the beautiful Logan Botanic Gardens and many more. Why not visit Portpatrick with it's pretty harbour and quaint shops or take a sailing trip or planned bus tour to Belfast from Stranraer for the day. Spend the day at the Mull of Galloway and climb the lighthouse, visit the Bird Centre and enjoy the splendid views, meals & mouth watering homebaking at the Gaillie Craig Coffee House.
