Large handsomely furnished 4 bedroom, 4 bathroom House with private gardens and waterfront location in Scottish Borders. On the edge of a tiny village this must be the true Scottish idyll. South facing views over dramatic Cheviot hill country.

Southern Upland Way, Dere Street, Borders Abbeys Way and The Pennine Way for Hill Walkers. Mountain biking on Cheviot, Glentress, Minch Moor and Yair Forest trails. Golfers may try numerous small challenging but uncrowded courses nearby and for the more ambitious Minto, Torwoodlee, Hirsel and The Roxburgh 18 hole championship course. Fly fishing on River Tweed or River Teviot for salmon and trout, sea fishing off Berwick. Game or Clay Pigeon shooting is available at The Roxburghe Hotel. Ice skating and curling on Kelso Ice Rink. River and pool swimming. Historians will find superb abbeys, castles and stately homes close by, also in town libraries and museums. Horse riding enthusiasts may attend fortnightly Kelso races in winter season and Common Riding Festivals in every town in summer. Riding Centres will give lessons and hire out horses and ponies. Border rugby have fixtures in each town, famous Rugby Sevens in April and May. Restaurants and pubs within 4 - 7 miles. General shopping 4 - 9 miles. Visit cashmere and tartan mill outlets in Galashiels, Hawick, Melrose, Selkirk, Kelso and Jedburgh.
