This character cottage is both beautiful and luxuriously appointed. Only 10 miles from St Andrews and 45 miles from Edinburgh.
Idyllic cottage dating back to around 1740, situated in the centre of the historic village of Pittenweem, with all its charm and only a couple of minutes walk down one of the many wynds to the only remaining working, fishing harbour on the East Neuk coast. Pittenweem is also renowned for its annual Arts Festival.
The cottage has been completely and loving refurbished, restoring many of its original features (hidden over time). This includes being furnished to the highest standards by an interior designer, incorporating beautiful soft furnishings, antiques and Egyptian linens.
The garden has been re-landscaped providing a delightful seating and dining area complete with barbecue.
Ideally situated in the heart of the historic village of Pittenweem on the Fife Coast. Just 10 miles from St Andrews, the home of golf and 45 miles from Edinburgh renowned for it’s history, the arts and shopping. Perth known as ‘the gateway to The Highlands’ is just 42 miles away.
You can play golf, take a stroll along the Fife Coastal Path, visit the local historic buildings or just go shopping in St Andrews and then enjoy an evening meal in one of thee excellent local restaurants or a pub meal in the local which is just 2 minutes walk away. This is just an idea for one day! Drive up to the Highlands, visit Edinburgh or just walk down one of the wynds in the village to see Sammy the seal basking in the harbour, looking for an easy meal when the trawlers return.
SLEEPS 4 (MAXIMUM)
Accommodation comprises three bedrooms (two doubles and a twin), bathroom and a separate shower room. A beautiful living room with log burning stove and a lovely garden.

Access to the cottage is via the forestair and there are spiral staircases leading to the garden and also to two of the bedrooms on the top floor (sea views from these).
Gas central heating, Oven and Hob, Fridge/Freezer, Dishwasher, Washing Machine and Tumble Dryer. Freeview TV’s in the living room and all bedrooms. DVD player, broadband wireless internet access and telephone.
