Balliefurth Farm
A warm welcome awaits you to our home, a working, family run, beef and sheep farm in the Highlands of Scotland. Taste the dinners and breakfasts incorporating our own beef and lamb and, where possible we source from the farmers market where we sell our own produce.
Our home has large en-suite bedrooms with king size beds, a comfortable and cosy sitting room with an open fire where many an evening is spent chatting over a dram.
The dining room has a wood-burning stove and paintings done by various members of the family.
The farm has won several wildlife and biodiversity awards, birds and wildlife are abundant for you to enjoy if you wish to walk round the farm or even just sit in the garden. It may be possible to have a guided walk round the farm with Alastair, the farmer, if you are interested.
If you enjoy good quality local food (Ann, the farmer’s wife, won a national cooking competition), abundant wildlife and would like to experience a real Scottish working farm with a real Scottish family, I can guarantee you will enjoy a stay at Balliefurth Farm.
