Welcome to Staffa House! Situated in the heart of Fionnphort, conveniently only 5 minutes walk from the jetty, this is an excellent starting point for visits to Iona, Staffa and the Treshnish Islands. The house offers spacious, comfortable B&B accommodation with views of the Sound of Iona and Ben More. Explore the Ross of Mull with its wonderful walking and wildlife, beaches and boat trips, returning home for delicious dinners using local/organic products where possible. Packed lunches are available. Walkers and cyclists are welcome. Open all year.

Inside the doors of Staffa House, away from the hustle and bustle at the jetty, you will find a peaceful, atmosphere. All four bedrooms (two doubles, one twin, one family) are ensuite with tea/coffee making facilities.

The lovely conservatory downstairs has views looking west to the Sound of Iona (great for sunsets!) and east to Ben More. This is a place to relax, to unwind and to feel close to the elemental rocks and seas on your doorstep.

Ali loves life on the West coast of Scotland, having worked previously for the Iona Community. In her spare time she enjoys hill-walking, exploring the Ross of Mull and gardening.

We believe that food plays a central role in offering genuine welcome and hospitality. Ali’s professional skills and passion for local, ethically sourced food ensures that nourishing meals are made with love and care, attractively presented and delicious to eat! Breakfasts will consist of a range of cereals, juices, fruit, home-made bread and preserves and a range of imaginative cooked options. Evening meals will offer a choice of two or three starters, main courses and mouth-watering home-made desserts. We place high importance on cooking good vegetarian meals and meals for those with special dietary requirements. There is no table licence at Staffa House but guests are welcome to bring their own alcoholic beverages and enjoy these as part of their evening meal. No corkage charge is requested.
