Barn at Glenturk

Set amid rolling farmland with spectacular views of the Galloway Hills and Wigtown Bay Estuary, the Barn at Glenturk comprises two luxury self catering semi-detached houses newly converted from an old barn on a renowned pedigree cattle farm.

Galloway Cottage sleeps six and has an open plan layout comprising a lounge area with a full length window affording spectacular views of Cairnsmore and Wigtown Bay, fully equiped kitchen / diner with patio doors leading onto black limestone patio. A double bedroom with patio doors onto patio and a large bathroom with separate shower. Upstairs there is a double bedroom with juliette balcony, again with spectacular views, and a twin bedded room. Both bedrooms have en-suite shower rooms.

Wigtown Cottage sleeps four and has a large kitchen /diner leading onto a lounge with large patio doors leading onto the patio. There is also a separate cloakroom on the ground floor. Upstairs there is a large double bedroom with patio doors leading onto a private raised patio area. An en-suite bathroom is provided. A twin bedroom with en-suite shower room completes The Millhouse.

Both properties have underfloor heating and a flueless gas fire in each lounge (one cylinder of gas provided). Fully fitted kitchens with washing machine, dishwasher, cooker, hob and microwave. Italian leather sofas, solid oak dining furniture, and solid oak beds with relyon mattresses. Large LCD televisions, CD player with MP3 playback and a selection of DVD's, CD's, books and original art, by local artist, are provided for your enjoyment.

There is a separate large drying room and secure store, plenty of parking and next spring the meadow to the front of the property will be at your disposal complete with play equipment (our 'play meadow').

The Barn at Glenturk is ideally situated for numerous golf courses, forest trails for walking, cycling (7stanes just 7 miles away) and Scotlands Booktown at Wigtown (1 mile away)
