The Castle Stables - Getting There

Getting there from the Information Centre

From Stonehaven TIC head south on Allardice St. to A957, continue south on the A90 for 6.8 miles and turn right on the B966 towards Fettercairne/Auchenblae road, turn right on the first signpost for Auchenblae. On entering the village turn right to Inverurie Street, proceed up the hill and turn left at the sign posted Drumtochty following this road for about 2 miles. Drumtochty Stables is situated on the right hand side.

Getting There by Car

From Aberdeen head south on the A90 for 22 miles and turn right on the B966 towards Fettercairne/Auchenblae road, turn right on the first signpost for Auchenblae. On entering the village turn right to Inverurie Street, proceed up the hill and turn left at the sign posted Drumtochty following this road for about 2 miles. Drumtochty Stables is situated on the right hand side.
Coming from the south take the A90 north from Perth or Dundee and just north of Laurencekirk turn left, signposted to Auchenblae.

Getting There by Railway

Aberdeen or Stonehaven are the nearest train stations. There are trains from London, Edinburgh and Glasgow.

Getting there by Aeroplane

From Aberdeen International Airport follow the A90 south east toward Aberdeen City and from there head south on the A90 towards Dundee/Perth. After 22 miles from Aberdeen turn right on the B966 towards Fettercairne/Auchenblae road, turn right on the first signpost for Auchenblae. On entering the village turn right to Inverurie Street, proceed up the hill and turn left at the sign posted Drumtochty following this road for about 2 miles. Drumtochty Stables is situated on the right hand side.
