The Original Raj Hotel
The Original Raj is the first Indian themed Hotel in the United Kingdom. The unique decor and furniture designed and hand-made are from re-cycled materials imported from Jaipur. The Hotel rooms are spacious with seating areas and canopy beds.
The Hotel is situated in the Murrayfield are a fifteen minute walk or five minute bus ride to the city centre.

The Original Raj Hotel is the U.K's first Indian Themed Accomodation-only Hotel which was opened in Spring 2000. All ensuite rooms are decorated to a high standard which possess an understated elegance and are furnished with Indian furniture imported in from Jaipur. The Hotel is located in the west end of Edinburgh, 1 mile from the City Centre, on the main airport road and minutes walk to Murrayfield Stadium. An excellent and frequent bus route operates literally outside the Hotel. We do not have a private car-park but pay & display parking is available in the adjacent streets to and behind the Hotel.
The Hotel would appeal to leisure travellers, romantic weekenders, business people and families who are looking for something that is genuinely different, well located and at reasonable prices.
