Welcome to the Glen Feshie Hostel
Glenfeshie Hostel sleeps 14 in 3 x 4 bed bunk rooms and 1 x 2 bed twin room in bunkhouse type accommodation. There is a communal living and cooking area heated by a large wood burning stove. There are separate male and female shower rooms along with a drying room and laundry room.
The hostel / bunkhouse is ideal for group accommodation, extended family gatherings, school, college or university parties and for moutaineering and cycling club meets.
Red squirrels can be seen most days in the adjacent woodlands and Capercaillie have been seen in the winter. Red deer are a common site, grazing in the fields between the hostel and the river.

Glenfeshie Hostel lies within the recently created Cairngorms National Park. The park covers an area of 3,800 sq kilometrs and is 40% larger than the Lake District. The Pa stretches from Grantown on Spey to the heads of the Angus Glens, from Ballater to Dalwhinnie and Drumochter including much of the Laggan area in the southwest and a large area of the Glen Livet estate and the Strathdon/Glen Buchat area.
4 of Scotland's 5 highest mountains are within the Park, there are 52 summits over 900 metres.
The Cairngorms is the home to the Scottish Crossbill, the only bird unique to Britain. Golden Eagle, Osprey, Dotterell, Capercaillie, and Crested Tit are just a few of the bird species found here.
The national park is home to a wide variety of animals - including pine martens, red squirrels, badgers, wildcats, water vole, and otters.
