Getting there from the Information Centre

Edinburgh Tourist Information Centre is located above the Princes Mall shopping centre in the East End of Princes Street. Upon leaving the centre turn right and walk to the corner of Princes Street/North Bridge. Walk up the left hand side of North Bridge away from the City Centre and take the First Bus 81/x81/x80 signposted Birkenside. Ask the driver to alert you at the Newbattle Abbey College stop.

Getting There by Railway

Edinburgh Waverley Station.
From the station take the Waverley steps up to the East End of Princes Street (Balmoral Hotel) and head up North Bridge away from the City Centre and take the First Bus 81/x81/x80 signposted Birkenside. Ask the driver to alert you at the Newbattle Abbey College stop.

Getting there by Aeroplane

Edinburgh International Airport
The airport has a good bus link (the 100) which gets direct access to Princes Street, then follow the rail option above.
Alternatively there are numerous taxi-cabs available from the airport terminal which will take you directly to Newbattle Abbey College (be prepared to pay as much as £20/£25 for the hire.)
