Superbly situated, nestling quietly and conveniently just off Drymen’s main square, you’ll just love Elmbank’s unique character and location. Curl up on a comfortable couch in front of a log fire. Find total privacy complete with stars and chimnea out the back garden. Wander for a moment out into the frey of restaurants or cosy taverns on your doorstep. Take a swim or sauna in the leisure club. Peruse the art gallery, pottery studio, shoe and clothes shops.

Within the beautiful conservation village of Drymen, at the heart of Scotland’s Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park you’ll find Elmbank the perfect base in which to relax, explore stunning countryside or find romance and adventure.

Originally built in 1898, Elmbank has been extended and completely refurbished over the years. There is a cosy three bed roomed flat one flight upstairs. Combine this with our spacious five apartment flat over another two levels below and Elmbank can offer the perfect solution to the grand group holiday.

Flat 1. comprises cosy luxurious living room, kitchen and ensuite double bedroom, with further twin and double room sharing their own bathroom. There is a portion of garden designated for picnicing if you wish.

Flat 2. comprises a large luxurious living room complete with log burning stove opening widely via double doors into the spacious dining room (will sit approx 12). The fully equipped kitchen is towards the back of the building, between the dining room and the ensuite family bedroom with its Parisian balcony. On the ground level, a further double ensuite bedroom can be found with French doors opening up into the private garden. Up the corridor from this, a bathroom and twin room can be found and then a windowless box/play room. All bedrooms have double or twin beds, the family room has a double bed and also a huge set of bunk beds. The box/play room has two single beds. The living room has a double sofa bed with memory foam mattress. All beds are sumptuous and comfortable. Throughout both apartments there is central heating, flat screen TVs, DVD’s, WiFi, stereo facilities, fully equipped kitchens, dishwashers, large cooker etc. We can also supply a housekeeper and chef if desired. Linen and towels provided, access to garden, patio area, picnic areas, BBQ, and Bein Marie.

Away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life you can enjoy long lies and breakfasts in-house or in a hotel or restaurant of your choice right outside your front door. There is also a leisure club, bicycle hire, seasonal ceilidh and pipe band, golfing, fishing, boating or exploring some of the most spectacular scenery in Scotland.

The cities of Glasgow, Edinburgh and Stirling are all within easy reach of Drymen. An abundance of theatres, music venues, museums, galleries and shops can be found in all three cities. There are also many historic attractions nearby which narrate Scotland’s rich history. Glasgow International airport is approx. half an hour away and Edinburgh or Prestwick airports are approx. an hour and a half. Near by you will find Loch Lomond and the Trossachs; with numerous woodland walks and mountains.
