Getting there from the Information Centre
The Tourist Information Centre is at the East end of Princes Street, above Waverly train station. On exiting the TIC:
a. Exit onto Princes street. Take a right turn to Waterloo Place. Follow the road to Abbeyhill traffic lights then take a left onto Easter Road. Cross at the traffic lights and continue down onto Easter Road. Walking time = 10-15 minutes
b. Exit onto Princes street. Cross the road and take the number 1 bus. Exit at the first stop on Easter Road (ask the driver). Cost = 1 GB Pound per person. (N.B. No change is given)
c. Exit onto Waverly Bridge. Take a taxi. Cost = 5 GB Pounds. Time = 5 minutes.
Getting There by Car

South & East: Take A1 Edinburgh/City Centre. Drive past Meadowbank shopping centre. At traffic lights keep to the left, at next traffic lights turn right onto Easter Road.
West : Take the A8 (City Centre). At Princes Street turn left onto Charlotte Square. At the end turn right onto Queen Street. At the roundabout turn left (Leith/Portobello), at next roundabout turn right onto London Road (A1/Portobello). At the 3rd set of traffic lights turn left onto Easter Road.
North: take the A90 (City centre). After crossing the bridge take a left at the traffic lights and left again onto Great Stuart Street. Take 2nd exit on roundabout, bear right. At traffic lights continue onto Queen Street. Further as above.

Getting There by Railway
We are close to Waverley Train Station which is situated under the Tourist Information Centre (TIC). Follow route as mentioned for TIC.
Getting there by Aeroplane
From Edinburgh Airport you have 4 options.
1. Take a taxi direct to the apartment.
Cost = 25 GB Pounds (approximately)
Time = 30 - 45 minutes
2. Take the Edinburgh Shuttle (brown/yellow mini bus) direct to the apartment.
Cost = 8 GB Pounds per person single
Time = 30 - 45 minutes
3. Take the airport bus to Waverly Bridge (end of the line)
Cost = 3 GB Pounds Single ticket
Cost = 5 GB Pounds Open Return ticket
Time = 45 minutes
Then, from Waverly Bridge head back up the hill to Princess Street and the follow route, above, from TIC.
4. Take the Number 35 Lothian bus to Easter Road
Cost = 1 GB Pound per person. (N.B. No change is given)
Time = 75 minutes
Getting There by Ferry

Head for Edinburgh / Forth Road Bridge. Follow car driving directions from the North.
We are approximately 2 hours by car from Newcastle Ferry Terminal. Follow directions A1 from the South to Edinburgh.
