It also has a small garden centre and a pottery near John Paul Jones cottage, Father of us Navy. Southness gold and Solway links is just a mile and a half away. Sandy beaches near by.
Alva House has red squirrels in the garden, also good variety of wild birds. So why not bring a bottle of wine and relax in a wonderful part of Scotland.
