Bobbin Guest House - Getting There

Getting there from the Information Centre

On leaving the Mill On The Fleet, return to the High Street and turn left. The Bobbin is approximately 200m up the hill on the right hand side of the road.

Getting There by Car

From Dumfries, take the first sign-posted exit for Gatehouse Of Fleet off the A75. Follow the road for approximately 2 miles. On entering Gatehouse Of Fleet you will see the clock tower on your left hand side. The Bobbin is roughly 100m further down the High Street on the left hand side.

From Stranraer, take the first sign-posted exit for Gatehouse Of Fleet off the A75 at Cardoness Castle. Follow the road into the town. After crossing the bridge, continue up the High Street for approximately 200m and the Bobbin is located on the right.

Nearest railway station is Dumfries. Bus service 500 runs from Dumfries Railway Station to Gatehouse Of Fleet.

Nearest airports is Prestwick, Glasgow or Newcastle Upon Tyne.

Getting There by Ferry

Ferries from Ireland to Stranraer – Gatehouse is approximately one hour along the A75 from the fetrry port.
