Brighouse Bay Holiday Cottages - Getting There
Getting there from the Information Centre
From Kirkcudbright TIC follow signs for Gatehouse of Fleet, over bridge, past creamery then take the first left for Brighouse Bay Caravan site 5 miles approximately. Continue following the caravan signs until you pass the Ross Bay road end, then take the first left that will take you to the back of the cottage or the second left will take you up the front drive.
Getting There by Car
skipFollow the A75 from Dumfries heading for Stranraer, you will pass through Crocketford, Springholm then bypass Castle Douglas, Twynholm heading for Gatehouse of Fleet, just before Gatehouse you will see brown signs for Brighouse Bay Caravan park onto the A75 follow the signs until you pass the Ross Bay road end, then take the first left that will take you to the back of the cottage or the second left will take you up the front drive.
Getting There by Railway
Dumfries Station, get bus timetable for Kirkcudbright, as we have no regular bus service if you get to Kirkcudbright someone will meet you in the town and bring you to the cottage.
Getting there by Aeroplane
Prestwick airport, follow the directions from airport heading for Castle Douglas on the A713, at Castle Douglas take the A75.
Getting There by Ferry
Stranraer take the A75 heading for Dumfries at Gatehouse of Fleet turn right onto the A755 follow signs for Brighouse Bay Caravan Park after passing the Ross Bay road end take the first left to the back of the cottage or second left for the front driveway.
