A family run licensed guest house, we pride ourselves on our guests comfort and warmth. In the winter months the guest house is heated throughout, 24 hours a day, so a warm welcome is always guaranteed. We offer Victorian charm with modern comforts.
Callater Lodge Guest house provides easy access to some of Scotland’s wildest areas and is located within Cairngorm National Park. It is an ideal base for walking, climbing, skiing, golf, cycling, fishing and other outdoor activities.
A Victorian Villa built in 1861 of local granite stone, Callater Lodge stands in spacious and attractive grounds. There is a comfortable resident’s lounge, with a Victorian fireplace, available for guests use throughout the day. Relax and enjoy a drink and a snack at the end of a busy day.
There are a variety of books and games for guests’ entertainment. Guests are also welcome to make use of our large garden to enjoy the sunshine and possibly see our regular visitors such as the red squirrels, ducks, a variety of birds, and the local rabbits.
All our bedrooms are tastefully furnished and all have en-suite facilities. Each room has the benefit of Colour TV, hospitality tray, hair dryer, bathrobe, and complimentary quality toiletries.
