The university town of St Andrews, the capital of golf, is only 10 miles away and the cities of Edinburgh, Perth and Dundee are within easy reach for tours and shopping trips. There are many visitor attractions and activities, including Fife's 40 golf courses.

The Great Lodging has been recently restored to make an enviable holiday home. The three floors provide accommodation for up to eight people in four bedrooms. The house is tastefully furnished throughout and includes some period and antique furniture. The spacious sitting room spans the entire top floor and has wonderful views across the Firth of Forth. Free parking is available and there is a patio and well stocked walled garden, shared with the owner in the adjoining house, for you to relax in. Anstruther harbour and beach are just a few minutes walk from the house.
