Clarkston Farm B&B

Built in the 19th century, Clarkston Farm’s construction capitalises on the stunning views all around. In the morning, guests wake up to bird song and the glorious panorama of the Clyde valley. Those up with the dawn may even see deer, foxes and hares making their way across the fields. In the evening there is peace to ponder the day’s events, browse through the bookcase or take a wander through our fields of barley, cattle, sheep and horses and visit Badger Hill where, if you are quiet, you may even meet the Clarkston Badger Family that share the farm with us.
All our rooms are spacious, warm and welcoming. The beds are comfy, the bathrooms are clean and the stone walls provide peace and quiet for a good night’s sleep. Large windows offer views over the courtyard and the valley whilst thick walls keep the rooms cool in the summer and warm in the winter.
If you like good food then you must try the Clarkston Farm Breakfast. Since opening in January 2008, every customer has commented on the quality of the cooking. We cater for both vegetarian and meat diets and cook all our dishes to order, using farm fresh ingredients. Evening meals are available by appointment allowing you to put your feet up at the end of a busy day. Breakfast is served in the dining room which boasts an open fire for those winter mornings and looks out towards the site of Black Hill Fort (NTS) where a Bronze Age burial cairn and an Iron Age fortress once stood.
