Pinewood Country House
Pinewood Country House is a family run Guest House, providing an excellent standard of accommodation for visitors to St Andrews, home of golf, which is 10 minutes away. Jim & Pam Davidson assure you of a very warm welcome to their unique and beautiful Edwardian home. Pinewood is set in its own grounds with copper beech trees and lawns in a lovely rural setting. The six spacious, well appointed bedrooms all have en-suite facilities, digital flat screen tv with dvd player, hairdryer, alarm clock and welcome tray.
We invite you to come and join us and appreciate the surroundings whether you wish to play golf, tour, cycle or walk.
Breakfast is served in the beautifully presented dining room from an extensive menu. Good food is served using fresh local produce.
Welcome log fires can be enjoyed in our entrance hallway, dining room and guest lounge where there is also wireless internet access. Drying facilities and golf club storage are provided.
There are over 40 golf clubs in Fife and local courses include Scotscraig, St Michaels and Drumoig. Carnoustie is just 35 minutes drive away. It is centrally located for travel to Edinburgh, Perth and Stirling – all of which can be easily visited on a day trip. Leuchars train station is just 3 minutes away. Close by is Tentsmuir Forest and Kinshaldy beach with beautiful walks along 5 miles of unspoilt sands and numerous forest trails forming part of the Fife Coastal Path. Arrangements can be made for cycle hire to explore the pine forest trail and the 300 miles of the Kingdom of Fife Cycle Route.
There is ample parking for guests with no restrictions, vouchers or traffic wardens.
