Getting There by Car

Take A77 south from Glasgow, following signs for Kilmarnock/Ayr. Continue south on the A 77 passed Kilmarnock and Symington until you reach the Dutch House roundabout (Approximately 30 miles). Take 3rd exit, follow A78 signs for Irvine to next roundabout (Monkton Hall roundabout) take 3rd exit for A78 Irvine. Take 1st exit left onto slip road for Loans (B746), then take 2nd right onto Corraith Road, signposted Corraith and Symington. Travel under A78 to mini roundabout, straight through this roundabout. The farm road for "Southside Farm" sits approx 50 metres on the right hand side. Travel up this farm road and turn right at the end where "Hillcrest Cottage" is situated on your right hand side.

Getting There by Railway

Travel to Troon Station south from Glasgow, north from Stranraer. Taxi service available from Troon station.

Getting there by Aeroplane

From Prestwick Airport; Leave the airport and turn right onto the A79 continue to roundabout (Monktonhall) take 1st exit left onto A78 following signs for Irvine. Take 1st slip road on left onto the B746 signposted Loans then 2nd right onto Corraith Road, signposted Corraith and Symington. Travel under A78 to mini roundabout, straight through this roundabout. The farm road for "Southside Farm" sits approx 50 metres on the right hand side. Travel up this farm road and turn right at the end where "Hillcrest Cottage" is situated on your right hand side.

From Glasgow International airport follow signs for M8 Northbound (City Centre). Once on the M8 follow signs for Kilmarnock (A77). See road directions above (travel by car).
