Inchnadamph Lodge Hostel

Inchnadamph Lodge is a Grade B listed former Manse set at the very heart of Assynt. Inchnadamph is ideally placed for easy access to the whole of Assynt - and the munros of Conival and Ben More Assynt are right on our doorstep. The sandy beaches along the coast and the fishing village of Lochinver are just 20 minutes drive away.
We offer a relaxing place to stay for individuals, couples, families and groups in a mixture of private twin, double & family rooms, or shared hostel dormitories.
The Lodge has full self-catering facilities for all guests (although breakfast is provided), and we have a large effective drying room!

Assynt - just 25 miles north of Ullapool in the North-West Highlands of Scotland - is one of the last great areas of unspoilt wilderness in Europe. This corner of Sutherland makes an ideal base for a short break or a longer holiday - either to relax and unwind, or to explore the great outdoors.
The huge diversity of landscapes, habitats and wildlife found within Assynt result in an area ideal for many different activities for people of all ages - including mountain treks, low level walks, rock climbing, wildlife watching, wild trout fishing, sea fishing, and scenic touring. The area is world renowned for its unique geology - and is part of Scotland’s first European Geopark.
With fantastic beaches, dramatic coastal cliffs and hundreds of lochs - there is something for everyone!

Inchnadamph Lodge is a Grade ‘B’ listed former Manse set at the very heart of Assynt, surrounded by spectacular mountains. Accommodation at the Lodge is offered in either private double / twin or family rooms (which have wash-hand basins) or Hostel-style shared dormitories (which sleep 4 to 8 people). All rooms are close to excellent shower, washroom and toilet facilities.
A generous self-service breakfast of cereals, toast & preserves, tea, real coffee and fruit juices is included for all guests.
Our guest lounge, dining room and self-catering kitchen are available all day - so you are free to prepare your own packed lunches and/or evening meals - if you don’t wish the expense of eating out for every meal. (Facilities may be closed briefly in the morning for cleaning).
We are usually open all year - but booking is essential from November to March inclusive.
B&B rates from about £20 to £23, Hostel rates from £15 (all prices include breakfast).

Private - Twin, Triple, Double & Family Rooms.
Our smaller twin, double, triple and family (a double & one or two single beds) rooms are all fitted out to a good quality Guest House standard. These rooms are all on the second floor and are fitted with wash-hand basins. Shared bathroom facilities are available on the same floor. The rooms are prepared with fresh bedding and towels are provided.
These rooms are ideal for families, couples or group leaders who wish to have a higher level of privacy than in the dormitories.

Shared Hostel Dormitories.
On the ground & first floor of the Lodge we have six dormitory rooms, which sleep 4, 7 or a max of 8 people. The solid pine bunks are full single bed size, and are fitted with comfortable sprung (not foam) mattresses. The rooms have ample storage space in under bed boxes and shelving. Our ground floor room is suitable for wheelchair access.
For these rooms all bedding and linen is provided. We have separate male & female washrooms, and a large shower room with hot powerful showers.
All our rooms have excellent views of the surrounding hills & mountains (weather permitting!).
