Dalnoid Holiday Cottages are situated in the hills of Perthshire. Both cottages are all on one level, with no internal steps, making it ideal for those with mobility difficulties.

New Steading Cottage is a modern, stylish, but comfortable holiday cottage, with oak floors throughout, underfloor heating and a wood-burning stove.
Old Steading Cottage
Formerly the cattle byre, Old Steading Cottage has slate floors throughout, thick stone walls (some exposed), combed ceilings, underfloor heating and a wood-burning stove.

The views from both Old and New Steading cottages are stunning, looking down over the Shee Water and up to Mount Blair. Large patio doors and decking areas for each cottage mean you can relax and enjoy the spectacular scenery whatever the time of year.

Lounge - New Steading Cottage
The lounges at Dalnoid Holiday Cottages have comfortable sofas, coffee tables and rugs. You will also find a selection of books, maps, magazines, games and DVDs to enjoy on your holiday. We have pottery and homeware accessories from 2 local studios: Glenshee Pottery and Primrose Hill Studio.
Woodburning Stoves
In addition to the underfloor heating (powered by Ground Source Heat Pumps), each cottage has a woodburning stove. There is a plentiful supply of logs for your stay.
New Steading Cottage - Kitchen
Both cottages have modern fitted kitchens and include LPG double oven cookers, microwave, freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. The kitchens are exceptionally well equipped with an extensive array of kitchen equipment to allow you to 'self-cater'. A full list of equipment is sent before your holiday.
New Steading Cottage - Master Bedroom with En-suite Shower Room
The master bedrooms at Dalnoid are comfortably appointed with bedside rugs, armchair, full size wardrobe, chest of drawers and full-length mirrors. The master bedrooms also have an en-suite shower room, with WC, washhand basin, heated towel rail and shaver points.

Old Steading Cottage - the old cattle byre - has slate floors and an exposed stone wall behind the woodburning stove.
Old Steading Cottage - Twin Bedroom
The twin bedrooms in each cottage have 2 single beds, a 3rd 'put you up' bed can also be included for an additional child. Cots and highchairs are available free of charge, if notified at the time of booking.
Old Steading Cottage - Family Bathroom
Each cottage has a family bathroom, with a full-size bath and shower over, WC, washhand basin, heated towel rail and shaver point. The family bathrooms also have grab rails for the bath, shower and toilet, to assist those with mobility difficulties.

Dalnoid Holiday Cottages are situated in Glenshee, Perthshire and offer stunning scenery of rivers, mountains and forests. From the cottages there are an abundance of walks nearby.
Glen Doll in the Angus Glens
As well as stunning countryside in the immediate area of Dalnoid, we are also ideally located for exploring further afield: Royal Deeside, Angus Glens, Pitlochry and Blairgowrie are all less than an hour away.
