The house is just 5 minutes walk from the town centre which has a Tesco supermarket, restaurants, pubs, shops, post office, petrol station, hairdressers, indoor children's play centre & laser quest, a newly completed 10 million pound swimming pool/health centre which has a fitness suite, health suite, library, computer suite & large games hall. The house has lovely views over two parks one of which has a children's play area and basketball court, the other is used for rugby, football and archery.

Regular buses take you to Edinburgh in about 35 mins, as Penicuik is on the outskirts of the Scottish Borders you can visit the beautiful town of Peebles, go fishing, hill walking or wind surfing on Saint Marys Loch .

The house is situated 4 miles from the infamous Roslin Chapel where you can attend a Da Vinci Tour or stroll around at your leisure.
