Herons Self-Catering holiday cottage - Getting There

Getting there from the Information Centre

From Banff TIC take A98 signposted to Fraserburgh. Go through Macduff and take the left along the B9031 signposted to Gardenstown (approx 8 miles). Follow the signposts for the harbour travelling down a steep hill with some sharp bends.
At the harbour travel west (with the sea facing you, go left) along sea wall towards the beach. Herons is in the 4th alley after the big green house facing the sea (50 Seatown). If you pass 32 Albert’s Cottage (blue) and a pink cottage, you’ve gone too far; go to the end and turn around in the car park. You can use the free car park at the end of the sea wall if you are unable to park nearer the house.
If you prefer, you can call before you come down the hill into the village and we’ll look out for you. (No mobile reception after the SPAR.)

Getting There by Car

From South, via Aberdeen. Take A90 Aberdeen ring road, and then A96 towards Inverness. Follow the A947 to the right to Banff.
