It is perfectly positioned to make the most of a holiday in Scotland's Border country. The house dates back to the 18th-century and boasts a lovely spacious drawing room, wood paneled dining room and a large south facing Victorian conservatory, which overlooks the garden. The village offers local shopping and friendly pubs, or alternatively, Edinburgh is just 50 minutes drive away.
The village of Coldingham offers village shops and pubs. There are plenty of activities including golf, bird-watching, walking, fishing and diving. Paxton House and Ayton Castle are just a sample of the wealth of local historic interest and can be easily reached. Further a field is Edinburgh, a scenic one-hour drive, or alternatively, the Northumbrian Coast, including Holy Island & Bamburgh Castle can be easily explored.
