Set in pretty, mature gardens and woodland, this charming, detached period home is located on the edge of the attractive village of Coldingham and only a mile from the wonderful surfing beach of Coldingham Bay. It is perfectly positioned to make the most of a holiday in Scotland's Border country. The house dates back to the 18th-century and boasts many period features including the wood panelled dining room.
The village of Coldingham offers village shops and two pubs. There are plenty of activities including golf, bird-watching, walking, fishing and diving. Paxton House and Ayton Castle are just a sample of the wealth of places of local historic interest that can be easily reached. Further afield is Edinburgh, a scenic one-hour drive, or alternatively, the Northumbrian Coast, including Alnwick, Holy Island & Bamburgh Castle can be easily explored.
Room 1... A ground floor twin bedded room, en-suite bathroom with bath and power shower over.
Room 2... Another ground floor room with double bed, en-suite shower room and power shower.
Room 3... This first floor room has great southerly views from the shuttered window, twin beds and an adjacent private bathroom.
All rooms have central heating and freeview television. Hot drinks making facilities and Ethernet broadband internet connection are available in the guests lounge.
