Coynachie Guest House - Getting There
Getting there from the Information Centre
From the Huntly Tourist Information Centre travel south along Gordon Street and then straight across the junction onto George V Avenue and continue along until you reach the main Huntly roundabout on the A96. At this roundabout, take the second exist signed A97 Rhynie. Continue straight along this road for about 2 miles and cross a narrow bridge, immediately after the bridge take the second turn on the right signed Coynachie. Continue on this single lane road for a further 2 miles (eventually passing two cottages on your left) and you will see the entrance to “Coynachie” shortly after on your left, beside our pond.
Getting There by Car
skipBy Car from the Huntly roundabout on the A96, take the exit off the roundabout signed Rhynie A97. Continue straight along the A97 for about 2 miles and cross a narrow bridge, immediately after the bridge take the second turn on the right signed Coynachie. Continue on this single lane road for a further 2 miles (eventually passing two cottages on your left) and you will see the entrance to “Coynachie” shortly after on your left, beside our pond.
Getting There by Railway
First ScotRail offers a regular service between Inverness & Aberdeen that stops at Huntly.
Getting there by Aeroplane
From Aberdeen airport at Dyce follow signs for Inverness A96. The journey is 37 miles long and takes approximately 50 minutes by car. As you near Huntly on the A96 you pass a BP garage on your left hand side and, after a further mile, turn left at the next roundabout, signed A97 Rhynie. Continue straight along this road for about 2 miles and cross a narrow bridge (only one car can cross at a time) immediately after the bridge take the second turn on the right signposted Coynachie. Continue on this single lane road for a further 2 miles (eventually passing two cottages on your left) and you will see the entrance to “Coynachie” shortly after on your left.
Getting There by Ferry
From Aberdeen centre follow signs for Inverness A96. The journey is about 42 miles long and takes approximately an hour by car. As you near Huntly on the A96 you pass a BP garage on your left hand side and, after a further mile, turn left at the next roundabout, signed A97 Rhynie.
