Aite Sithiel - Getting There
Getting there from the Information Centre
Take the A87 Portree to Uig. The turning for Kingsburgh is 9 miles to the north.
Getting There by Car

From Portree, take the road that leads north towards Uig. Just about 10 mins out you’ll see the signpost for the Kingsburgh turning.
Follow this road down until you come to a cross roads on a bend, bear right and after a gentle rise you’ll see three houses. Aite Sithiel is on the left.
Getting There by Railway
Take the train from Inverness to Kyle. Citylink or Rapsons bus to Portree.
Getting There by Ferry
If you are driving to the island from the south or west, there are two ferry routes, Armadale to Mallaig & Glenelg to Kylerhea. The 1st takes approx 20mins and should be reserved. The Glenelg-Kylerhea is a shuttle service taking approx 5 mins (Easter – October only).
