The sitting room has the original iron fireplace with tiled cheeks, ornate plaster cornices, dado rail and stripped woodwork. Bay windows offer fine views to Venlaw and beyond. There is a colour TV with DVD player, Video player and Freeview satellite. A selection of DVDs and Videos is available, along with books and games.
Pride of place goes to the old range in the former kitchen (now the dining room) - the original metal “triplex” range that was installed when the property was built. The range is in perfect condition, though as the chimneys are now capped, neither it nor the fireplace can be used.
The kitchen has been newly fitted with electric hob & oven; extractor hood; dishwasher; washer/drier; fridge/freezer; microwave; coffee maker; stainless steel sink & drainer. There is a small 'airing cupboard' above the hot tank.
The bathroom has also been newly fitted and has a white suite with an 'over-the-bath shower, fed directly from the hot water system. There is an electric shaver point and a heated towel rail.
There is gas central heating throughout the property. All gas and electricity costs are included in the price. Linen and towels are provided at no extra charge. A cot and high chair are available on request.
