Alba Bed and Breakfast - Getting There

Getting there from the Information Centre

Left onto Balloch Road/Drymen Road (400m), A811 Stirling Road (600m), take right fork at bottom of the hill – Alba B&B is the white building on the right.

Getting There by Car

From Glasgow – follow signs for A82, take 2nd right exit for A811 (Stirling), stay on A811 approx. 1.5 miles (pass through 2 roundabouts), on leaving Balloch drive over the hill (fields either side) indicate to turn right as you drive down the hill – Alba B&B is the white building on the right.

Getting There by Railway

From Glasgow Queen Street, low level trains to Balloch Central. Leave station turn right onto Balloch Road/Drymen Road (400m), take left onto A811 Stirling Road (600m), take right fork at bottom of the hill – Alba B&B is the white building on the right.

Getting there by Aeroplane

From Glasgow airport, join M8 motorway headed for Greenock, Erskine, leaving M8 at Jct 30, Erskine Bridge, cross the bridge (toll free) and head for A82 Crianlarich, continue for approx 9 miles until the Stoneymollan Roundabout, take 3rd right exit for A811 (Stirling), stay on A811 approx. 1.5 miles (pass through 2 roundabouts), on leaving Balloch drive over the hill (fields either side) indicate to turn right as you drive down the hill – Alba B&B is the white building on the right.
