Ardachearnbeg cottages were originally the outbuildings of a traditional 18th Century farm, now renovated to the highest standard using where possible, original features and items.
Care has been taken to ensure that your holiday home is as comfortable and restful as possible with all the cottages being fully equipped. (Heating, lighting etc. is included)
Each cottage has its own parking and a private area where you can sit and allow your mind to wander in the peace & quiet or, alternatively enjoy some of the different activities on offer in the area such as golf, horse riding, walking, cycling, quad biking, sailing or fishing
Woodpeckers, jays, wagtails, swallows, martins, siskins and a huge variety of other birds visit the garden daily; buzzards and, occasionally, sparrowhawks & eagles can be spotted checking out the territory.
Red squirrels visit the garden and deer can be seen occasionally in or near the grounds. In the wider locale, otters, seals, gannets and dolphins can be spotted.
If some city life or shopping is on your agenda, Glasgow can be easily accessed by car. It is possible to reach the city centre within 90 minutes, travelling either by the Rest & Be Thankful and Loch Lomondside, or over to Gourock by the ferry from Hunter’s Quay. Either way be prepared for some stunning scenery.
