Grandfathers House

Grandfathers house is a four star cosy selfcatering cottage specially designed for couples wishing for a quiet romantic break.
Northton is surrounded by many sandy beaches like Scarista beach and 5 Northton beaches, all at a walking distance from the cottage.
Amazing wildlife to be seen, like seals, porpoises, whales, dolphins and otters.
Great for outdoor activities like beach/hill walking, mountainbiking, kayaking, fly/rock/sea/boat fishing, kite/surfing, hiking, climbing.

Accommodation is for two adults , the one bedroom upstairs has an excellent king-size bed and one extra single bed.
There is a luxurious showerroom with marble washbasins. The homy cottage used to be an old black house, it has been finished with eye for detail and benefits from limited beachviews.
The livingroom/kitchen has a gas hob and combi microwave/oven/grill, a lovely wood-burning stove, sheepleather sofa's, i-pod, LCD, DVD and free WIFI.

Rent is including electricity, heating, bedlinen, towels and cleaning service. Welcomefor a true hebridean experience!

We also have two other luxurious cottages (with a Sauna, Jucuzzi, Steamshowers) for families or one or two couples with stunning beachviews over Scarista sands!

You'll find plenty to do here whether you want a relaxing or more active holiday.
Also bookable various excursions to St. Kilda, sealwatching, birdwatching, fishingpermits.

Good local food is available from various restaurants like the award wining Scarista House, the Anchorage restaurant (lovely seafood!) Harris and Rodel Hotel, Arhasaigh House etc.

2. GANNET COTTAGE, a 5 star luxurious cottage, sleeps up to 5p., Spectacular Sea- and Beach views towards Scarista beach, Taransay and the ocean beyond.
The Master Bedroom has a good quality king-size bed, an ensuite bathroom with a Jaccuzi bath, Steamshower, contemporary washbasin, little Sauna, seperate toilet.
The second bedrooms has 3 x 1 p beds and an ensuite bathroom equipped with a Steamshower, washbasin, toilet, both tiled with marble.
In addition, a LCD TV, dvd/cd, i-pod docking, WIFI and air to air heating.
Further a fridge, washer, dryer, and a dishwasher. There is a outside sitting area, picknick table, little sandpit for small children, a play area, outside drying facilities, outside tap for rinsing wetsuits and rods an a bbq and a little smokeoven to use if you wish.
