Green Slate Cottage
Green Slate cottage is set in its own private garden within the quiet village of Insch. Completely refurbished for 2008 the rooms are decorated in relaxing colours. The cottage comprises a lounge, kitchen and dining area, spacious bathroom with bath and separate power shower and large twin bedroom with excellent storage. For walkers and cyclists there is a jacket and boot drying cupboard in the hallway.
Outside the cottage has its own patio area, drying area and private parking.
Green Slate Cottage is set in the rural heart of Aberdeenshire at the foot of Bennachie. With excellent road and rail links to the North and south, Insch is an ideal base from which to explore the North of Scotland.
Locally the Castle, Malt whisky, Coastal and Victoria Heritage trails are all only a short drive away. Insch is also well located if you wish to walk, hike, cycle or climb. If you prefer the leisurely sport of fishing, Loch Insch is sure to be a hit. If Golf is your passion there is an 18 hole course in the village and many other excellent courses within half an hours drive.
Archaeolink Prehistory Park , Hoodles Playbarn and Macduff Aquarium are popular local attractions
The North of Scotland is renowned for its’ quality food and with many excellent local coffee shops, cafes and restaurant, many of which are award winning, you will be spoilt for choice.
Aberdeenshire is sure to be a place that you will come back to time and time again.
