The island of Lewis and Harris stretches from the Butt of Lewis at the very north to Leverburgh in the south, with a population of around 20,000. There are a wide variety of things to do, from visiting the world famous Callanish Stones to a walk along a secluded beach, or a fast-boat ride to the St Kilda World Heritage Site. There are many historical sites of interest throughout the area and is ideal for a range of outdoor pursuits — walking, cycling caneoing, golf, fishing and bird-watching.
For one weekend in July every year the island is transformed into a hive of activity, with the Hebridean Celtic Festival. Thousands of visitors flock to the island to the hear the latest names in the world of Celtic music, including the likes of Van Morrison, Runrig and Capercaillie. It's not to be missed.

Built using-environmentally sensitive methods and sustainable materials, Metagama offers lots of light, with the high Cathedral ceilings creating a warm, relaxed and stunning space. All fittings are of the highest standard and you can take full advantage of our sauna, Jacuzzi bath and double shower. We have two bedrooms which sleep four and a mezzanine loft space situated off the Minstrel Gallery above the living area, ideal for reading or a play area for children.
Craigroyston Lodge, spacious kitchen
A large, three-bedroom house in the style of an Alpine Lodge, with a spacious open-plan living room and kitchen. It is the ideal getaway for all the family, with stunning views across Broad Bay in the summer and outside decking and French windows for that al freso dining experience. At the same time, Craigroyston's special design, constructed using state-of-the-art insulation material and heating systems, gives the perfect protection from the winter weather, making this the perfect all-year-round retreat.
This property has three bedrooms which sleep six, including one king size, and has two public rooms.

Craigroyston Lodge is simply stunning. Larch-clad , Scandinavian design, full of light and securely enclosed by a traditional "drystone dyke" which was constructed from stone reclaimed from ancient island Black Houses. Bright and airy, it boasts a huge open-plan living space with cathedral ceilings clad in rough-sawn Douglas Fir.

"Iolaire" is the Scottish Gaelic for eagle, the most majestic of birds of prey. This 5-star unit will give you the ideal vantage point from which to explore the wonderful natural environment of the island. And where better to "nest" after a day's exploring than in our luxurious apartment. Or, alternatively, you may find that you just want to spend the day whiling away the hours in absolute comfort. You will send you a pre-registration form to ensure someone is there to greet you on arrival. Place an advanced shopping list and it will be ready for your arrival. Pre-ordered meals to be stored in your freezer can be provided and if you want your laundry done, that can be done too.
