Surrounded by stunning countryside and near superb beaches, this stylish eco-friendly cottage is the ideal base for making the most of all the nearby outdoor activities and beautiful Dumfries & Galloway.

Sleeping six, this delightful 4-star stone cottage is superbly decorated and furnished to a high level of comfort. The bright and airy open plan kitchen is equipped with all the essentials you need for a stress-free self-catering beak, while the sleek living and dining area provides a satellite TV , entertainment centre and wood burning stove. There is also a selection of games, books, videos and free Wi-Fi access for the whole family to enjoy and if you fancy a night out, there is also an affordable babysitting service available. Cots, high chairs and folding beds are also supplied free of charge.

The master bedroom has a comfortable king-size bed, while there is also a double and twin room, both with en suite shower rooms. The cottages main bathroom has a huge bath - perfect for relaxing soaks after adventurous days out. There are also underfloor heating, sun tunnels, energy- saving appliances and environmentally friendly features that don’t compromise your comfort throughout the cottage. All power, heating, and logs for the fire as well as linen and towels are included.

The pretty courtyard garden with its lovely raised pond, colourful flower beds and seating area is the ideal place to unwind with a cold drink or a spot of al fresco dining. Children will love the climbing frame and the fact the garden is fenced will give you the peace of mind.

The cottage is ideally located between Wigtown and Whithorn, close to plenty of beaches, walking and quiet roads for cycling. Climb the nearby Iron Age Hill Fort to enjoy stunning views of the Galloway Hills and across the Wigtown Estuary. Closeby, you can also take on the challenge of the 7stanes cycling circuit at Kirroughtree Forestry, watch osprey chicklings hatch and then browse the many bookshops in Scotland’s Book Town, Wigtown.
