Eco-friendly barn conversion with spacious living area in an ideal location to explore Dumfries and Galloway. Cottage is located between Wigtown and Whithorn close to plenty of beaches, walking and quiet roads for cycling.

Climb our Iron Age Hill Fort for stunning views of the Galloway Hills across the Wigtown Estuary and look down to watch wildfowl in our 2-acre mill pond.

The cottage includes light airy kitchen/living/dining area with wood burning stove. A king size bed occupies the master bedroom, while there is a double and twin room, both with en suite shower rooms. Next to the master bedroom is a large bathroom, with extra large bath for soaks after long walks.

We’ve made the cottage as green as possible. We built from the original stone, and added a super-insulated internal frame, under-floor heating, sun tunnels, energy saving appliances and environmentally friendly features that don’t compromise your comfort. The cottage is child friendly and provides easy access to those who need it.

The courtyard garden has seats for enjoying the night sky, or late afternoon sun and is fenced for children’s safety. There is off-road parking.

We’re a short drive from the Ravenstone Deli, recently listed in the Independent newspapers’ Top 50 Deli’s in the country. We offer Breakfast Hampers sourced from the Ravenstone Deli too, so you can arrive and relax.
