Craigiedows Cottage - Getting There
Getting there from the Information Centre
Go west along Union Street, Aberdeen, then right fork onto Albyn Place. At roundabout take 2nd exit (Queens Road) and carry straight on until this road joins the A944. Follow signs for Alford and see directions by car below.
Getting There by Car

From east and north: Follow A944 west of Aberdeen through Alford and Kildrummy as far as Glenkindie. After the Glenkindie Arms, turn left then right, go through Towie, then on a further 3 miles. At crossroads with A97 go straight across. * Take next left, signposted for Ardgeith Fishings.** Follow road to end, approx 2 1/2 miles, past End of Public Road sign. Track goes across field up to cottage.
From south: Follow A97 through Logie Coldstone, on a further 5 miles then turn sharp left at crossroads etc. (see above *)
From west: Follow A944 through Bellabeg, then 1 1/2 miles on take right turn through Heughhead, travel a further mile and then take right turn for Ardgeith Fishings etc. (see above **).
Getting There by Railway
If arriving by rail in Aberdeen, or Insch, it would be advisable to use car transport from there due to the rural location of the cottage.
Getting there by Aeroplane
If arriving by air at Aberdeen Airport, it would be advisable to use car transport from there due to the rural location of the cottage.
Getting There by Ferry
If arriving by ferry in Aberdeen, it would be advisable to use car transport from there due to the rural location of the cottage.
