Bruach Cottage
Bruach Cottage looking east, along Bruach Lane.
This lovely tree lined lane is little more than a stone's throw from the town centre and all amenities, making it ideally placed. The Festival Theatre is a short stroll away - a very pleasant walk across the pedestrian suspension bridge over the river.
Lounge
The Lounge enters directly from the entrance hall, with windows and glazed door to rear overlooking the courtyard to which it also gives access, and a small window to the front. This is a comfortable room, with more than adequate seating for full occupancy and has a bookcase stocked with novels, reference books etc. and DVD's. There is a widescreen TV, with satellite channels and DVD player.

SHOWER ROOM
The shower is contained in a large cubicle. One guest suggested that "if Carlsberg did showers", this would be it!
COURTYARD GARDEN
Looking into the courtyard garden from the Lounge. The courtyard sits to the rear of the cottage, is quite secluded and a real sun trap on those warm summer evenings.
There is seating and tables to accomodate four in the courtyard, or you could always try one of the restaurants nearby, such as Pot-na-Craig which is a short walk across teh pedestrian bridge over the river, or perhaps the historic old Moulin Inn which is a bit further away, for some homely pub grub.
COURTYARD GATE
The courtyard gate was specially made for Bruach Cottage with the heart cut into it - don't you just love it?
There are, of course, slightly bigger and perhaps more impressive gates a short distance away at Blair Atholl Castle.
LOOKING OVER THE COURTYARD
View looking from the kitchen window over the courtyard towards the hills on the opposite side of the river. A nice outlook while having breakfast!
The Festival Theatre is a short walk, over the river using the pedestrian suspension bridge.
BRUACH LANE LANDSCAPING
Landscaping at the end of Bruach Lane. Permanent landscaping and seasonal displays are a feature of 'Pitlochry in Bloom', and bring the town to life with colour.
